How WordPress Support Kept a Landscaping Website Growing

How WordPress Support Kept a Landscaping Website Growing

Last Updated: 07/14/26 | Author: Liz Eisworth

Landscaping business owner publishing a completed landscape project to a WordPress website while reviewing SEO and image optimization. An landscaping company in Atlanta wanted to use its WordPress website as more than an online brochure. By regularly publishing completed projects, seasonal landscaping tips, and service updates, the company could showcase its expertise, answer customer questions, and strengthen its visibility in search.

The challenge was not finding things to write about. It was knowing how to publish and manage the content correctly without wasting time or creating problems on the website.

WordPress Questions Were Slowing Down Content Publishing

Each time the landscaping company prepared a new article or project update, small questions interrupted the process:

  • What size should the project photos be?
  • Should this content be published as a page, blog post, or portfolio project?
  • Which category should be used?
  • What is the difference between a featured image and an image placed inside the article?
  • How should the new post link back to the company’s landscaping service pages?
  • What should be used for the page title and SEO title?
  • Why did an image or section look different on mobile?
  • Should a new city landing page be created to go with the project?

None of these issues was especially complicated on its own. Together, however, they created enough uncertainty that publishing was often delayed or pushed aside.

Because the company had an ongoing WordPress maintenance and support plan with SangFroid Web, the owner did not have to search through tutorials or worry about making a mistake.

When a question came up, the company could simply email us. In some cases, we explained how a WordPress feature worked. In others, we made the adjustment or handled the update directly.

This gave the business access to practical WordPress knowledge without requiring an in-house website manager or a separate project proposal for every small request.

Small WordPress Updates Kept the Website Moving Forward

Over time, we helped the landscaping company with tasks such as:

  • Resizing and optimizing landscaping project photos
  • Organizing blog categories around relevant landscaping topics
  • Adding internal links between articles, project features, and service pages
  • Improving page titles, SEO titles, and meta descriptions
  • Formatting articles so they were easier to read
  • Adding and adjusting featured images
  • Correcting layout and mobile display issues
  • Updating seasonal services and promotions
  • Troubleshooting WordPress problems before they disrupted publishing

Most of these requests took only a few minutes. The value came from having someone available who already understood the website and could provide a reliable answer quickly.

With fewer technical questions standing in the way, the landscaping company became more comfortable using its WordPress website as an active marketing tool.

Completed projects could be added more consistently. Seasonal articles were easier to publish. Service information stayed current, and the company had a trusted resource to contact whenever something in WordPress was unclear.

Instead of allowing the website to remain unchanged for months, the business could continue adding useful content that demonstrated its work and supported its long-term search visibility.

WordPress Maintenance Should Support More Than Software Updates

WordPress maintenance is often described in terms of plugin updates, backups, security monitoring, and software compatibility. Those services are essential, but they are only part of what businesses need when they actively use their websites.

Business owners also need someone who can answer questions, make small updates, explain how WordPress works, and provide practical guidance when they are unsure how to publish or organize new content.

SangFroid Web’s WordPress maintenance plans help support web design and SEO for landscaping companies, by combining technical maintenance with responsive website support and ongoing advice. That gives clients the confidence to keep using their websites, rather than contacting a web company only when something breaks.
